Job summary

Amaze Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patients in a fully virtual care model. You will handle intake, update histories, verify medications, and document visits in our EMR, ensuring compassionate, clear communication with patients and providers.

Responsibilities include guiding patients through telehealth visits, coordinating follow-ups, e-prescriptions, and maintaining accurate digital records, while leveraging telehealth platforms and video conferencing tools to deliver

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and active MA certification.
• 5+ years of experience in primary care or urgent care environments.
• Strong technical skills with EMR and telehealth platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for patient support.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the Virtual Patient Experience during telehealth visits.
• Conduct patient intake, update histories, verify medications, document visits in EMR.
• Assist providers by managing queues and coordinating follow-ups and e-prescriptions.
• Navigate telehealth tools and troubleshoot basic issues for patients and staff.
• Maintain secure electronic health records and coordinate virtual referrals.
