Job summary

BookNook hires USA-based math tutors to support students across the country. You will work 100% from home, using provided lesson content in a virtual classroom and help students with practice time and corrective guidance.

The role follows the school calendar, with most sessions lasting 30 minutes and pay of $20 per hour. Availability during peak window 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM ET is highly valued, and you can adjust your own hours outside that window.

Qualifications

• Experience as classroom teacher, tutoring, or similar student support.
• Deliver pre-designed math lessons via online instruction.
• Ability to build a supportive, motivating learning environment.
• Reliable high-speed internet (≥20 Mbps).
• Reside in listed US states.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed, best-practice math lessons.
• Support students during 30-minute sessions.
• Attend sessions and maintain at least 80% attendance.
