Job summary

The Book Nook is seeking math tutors across the USA to support K–6 students with pre-designed lessons. Tutors work as independent contractors and choose schedules within a broad time window, typically 4:00 PM–7:00 PM ET, with most sessions lasting 30 minutes. Content comes prepared and is aligned to school-year needs.

Pay is $20 per hour, with potential incentive payments. Tutors have high scheduling flexibility, but should attend at least 80% of claimed sessions and follow the school-year

Qualifications

• Experience as classroom teacher or tutor with online instruction
• EL/ESL/ELL experience helpful
• Online instruction experience with a college degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed math lessons to provide targeted support for students K–6
• Host sessions following the school calendar, typically 30 minutes
• Maintain at least 80% attendance for claimed sessions
• Schedule sessions during peak demand window 4:00 PM–7:00 PM ET
