Job summary

BookNook seeks tutors to support students across the United States in math and reading, delivering sessions online using provided lesson content. Tutors have control over their schedule, with most sessions 30 minutes and a requirement to attend at least 80% of claimed sessions.

Pay is $20 per hour, with incentives and no lesson prep needed. Opportunities span K–8 across the USA, following the school year (September–May).

Qualifications

• Experience as classroom teacher, EL/ESL/ELL, tutoring, or similar student support.
• Deliver pre-designed, best-practice math lessons with practice extensions.
• Ability to build meaningful professional connections and provide supportive corrections.
• Requires computer, webcam, reliable internet (≥20 Mbps).

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed math lessons using provided content.
• Attend and support students in online sessions with consistent weekly cadence.
