Job summary

Georgia Connections Academy seeks certified teachers to deliver high-quality virtual instruction for K‑12 students across Georgia. You will teach synchronously and asynchronously, engage families, and use data to drive student growth.

The role requires a Georgia teaching certification, flexibility, and strong collaboration in a hybrid work model from Duluth, GA and home offices within Georgia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the content area or related field.
• Georgia teaching certification in the subject area of instruction.
• Clearance Certificate through the Georgia Department of Education or able to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality synchronous instruction and create asynchronous resources aligned to curriculum and state standards.
• Provide differentiated Tier 1 instruction and collaborate within MTSS/RTI to plan Tier 2 and 3 interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure accommodations are implemented with fidelity and aligned to learning needs.
• Use assessment data to diagnose student learning needs, plan instruction, monitor progress, and adjust strategies.
• Maintain deep knowledge of assigned courses and general awareness of K‑12 curriculum pathways.
