Job summary

Georgia Connections Academy seeks a certified K-12 teacher to deliver high-quality synchronous and asynchronous virtual instruction. The role requires collaboration with family, MTSS/RTI support, and data-driven decision making to promote student growth within a Georgia standards framework.

You will work from the Duluth, GA office and a home office within Georgia, traveling for required in-person activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the content area or related field is required.
• Georgia Certification/License (Clearance) is required within first 30 days of hire.
• Elementary Education P-5 Certification and strong technology skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality synchronous instruction and create asynchronous resources aligned to curriculum and state standards.
• Provide differentiated Tier 1 instruction and plan Tier 2/3 interventions within MTSS/RTI.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement accommodations with fidelity.
• Use assessment data to diagnose needs, plan instruction, monitor progress, and adjust strategies.
• Maintain knowledge of courses and K-12 curriculum pathways.
• Build strong relationships with students and families to support engagement.
• Provide timely feedback on student work and progress; communicate regularly with families.
