Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an Interventionist to support at-risk students in the Ohio Digital Learning School. The role focuses on remediation to boost academic growth and align MTSS with state standards, while collaborating with families and general education teachers.

This is a full-time, virtual position with 40+ hours per week and occasional travel. Ohio licensure, a bachelor's degree, and one year of classroom experience or an equivalent combination are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year of classroom experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and presentation ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Flexible schedule with up to 10% travel
• Ability to pass required background check
• Experience working with At Risk students (desirable)
• Reading Endorsement (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Modifies/adapts the K12 curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student in alignment with state standards
• Collaborates with general education teachers to meet goals of targeted students through individual and small group sessions
• Educates parents on instructional strategies
• Ensures MTSS implementation to increase student achievement
• Oversees data collection and progress monitoring at every tier; uses data to guide instruction
• Collects and maintains MTSS data and intervention plans
• Serves as a daily resource to administrators and stakeholders regarding MTSS issues
• Collaborates with Family Academic Support Liaisons and staff to coordinate Tier 3 interventions
• Provides ongoing MTSS training and data-collection guidance to staff
• Supports teachers in documenting student progress
• Works with the special education team to facilitate eligibility for SPED
