Job summary

HHS is seeking a Temporary Staffing Recruiter to support the recruitment and placement of temporary staff across multiple facilities and locations. This role focuses on quickly identifying, screening, and placing qualified candidates for temporary, short-term, and high-volume staffing needs.

The Temporary Staffing Recruiter will manage the recruitment process from sourcing through onboarding, while partnering with facility leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of recruiting or staffing experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting for hourly, temporary, contract, or high-volume positions preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and urgent staffing requests.
• Strong sourcing, screening, and candidate development skills.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System; Workday experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel between HHS facilities as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for facility travel.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and place candidates for temporary, short-term, hourly, and high-volume staffing needs.
• Manage the recruitment process from sourcing through onboarding and placement.
• Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates who are available for temporary assignments.
• Source candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, networking, and other recruiting platforms.
• Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews and screenings.
• Quickly respond to staffing requests and prioritize urgent openings.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates regarding available assignments, schedules, locations, and start dates.
• Attend hiring events, recruiting events, and facility-based recruitment activities as needed.
• Build strong relationships with facility leaders, hiring managers, and candidates.
• Provide a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the process.
