Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of experienced birth and full-spectrum doulas to support families across pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. This 1099 independent contractor role offers flexible virtual and in-person opportunities, including evenings and weekends, with focus on Florida counties.

You will join a supportive community, receive client matching and administrative support, and help deliver proactive, high-quality care through Pomelo’s telehealth-enabled platform.

Qualifications

• Certification and training as birth and/or full-spectrum doula required.
• Experience working as a doula with understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with families virtually and in-person.
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Educate and guide families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
• Support families to improve birth outcomes and empowerment.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for visits and birth support.
• Follow documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for Pomelo services.
