ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking a dedicated online teacher for Michigan Online School (MOS). You will serve as the teacher of record, deliver live lessons, monitor asynchronous progress, and communicate regularly with families to support student growth.

This role includes occasional in-person state testing and events as required. Applicants should hold a current Michigan teaching license, understand State Standards, and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan teaching license required.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards preferred.
• Two years’ teaching experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record.
• Meet goals related to student achievement and culture and state accountability metrics.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student needs.
• Complete course setup within the LMS.
• Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses and provide feedback daily.
• Track and maintain contact with each student and communicate with families.
• Collaborate with Principal on Progress Reports of Students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Implement school culture expectations in and out of the classroom.
• Attend in-person state testing and student events several times per year.
