Pomelo Care is building a nationwide network of birth and full-spectrum doulas, offering a 1099 independent contractor role. You will educate families during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, with virtual and in-person support and flexible scheduling.

The company provides credentialing help, client matching, billing, and admin support. You will complete certification, maintain documentation, and comply with privacy and quality standards while caring for families.

Qualifications

• Completed certification and training as a birth and/or full-spectrum doula.
• Experience as a doula with understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with families from diverse backgrounds both virtually and in-person.
• You're comfortable using telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems.
• Availability for virtual and in-person work, including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Educate and guide expecting and new families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
• Play a vital role in improving birth outcomes by ensuring families feel supported and empowered.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for visits and birth support.
• Follow applicable documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for services conducted through Pomelo.
