Job summary

In-Telecom seeks a Virtual CIO / Solutions Architect to deliver strategic IT leadership and presales design for SMB clients. This hybrid role combines executive advisory with technical presales, aligning tech investments with business goals and growth.

Expertise in Microsoft Azure and SharePoint is critical; the vCIO/SA will design cloud solutions, guide migrations, and support adoption strategies while aiding CSMs with roadmaps and QBRs for executive conversations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT experience in MSP, consulting, vCIO, or SA roles.
• Hands-on Azure design and presales (VMs, networking, storage, AD/Entra, security).
• SharePoint Online architecture and adoption.
• Broad infra, networking, VoIP, managed services, and cybersecurity.
• Proven ability to present to executives in business terms.
• Needs assessment, analysis, and project scoping.
• Excellent proposals and roadmaps writing.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (CMMC, HIPAA, NIST, SOC 2).
• Collaborative, proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-year technology roadmaps and strategy sessions.
• Forecast budgets and IT governance frameworks.
• Assess infrastructure and optimize environments.
• Prepare QBRs and executive updates.
• Review vendor contracts for value.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve processes.
• Design Azure solutions including migrations and cost optimization.
• Lead SharePoint design, migrations, and governance.
• Create proposals and SOWs for SMB/Mid-Market.
• Support presales training for CSMs.
