Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Virtual Care Flow Coordinator to create a welcoming, patient-centered virtual environment. You will guide patients, provide accurate information, manage virtual visit workflows, and collaborate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow across facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare or related field with patient care support or healthcare administration.
• Preferred: Medical Assistant program or applicable military training.
• Experience in outpatient clinic settings and health IT systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of Cerner Scheduling for appointment modification and templates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues.
• Provide accurate information and instructions to virtual care patients and clinical teams.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, including greeting patients and coordinating needs.
• Coordinate flow of virtual visit patients, families, and caregivers with strong customer service.
• Support patient access functions and improve patient flow and virtual care operations.
• Collaborate with leadership on projects to align with practice requirements.
• Evaluate patient flow, wait times, and scheduling processes.
• Identify barriers and opportunities for improvement and report findings to leadership.
• Participate in meetings and continuous improvement initiatives focused on patient experience.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and provide step-by-step guidance to navigate virtual care services.
