Job summary

Fullmind offers a fully remote 1099 teaching opportunity in the United States. Certified educators can pick online openings through our portal and deliver virtual instruction to partner schools. Hours vary, with both full-day and part-time placements; California certification is required and work authorization in the U.S. is mandatory.

You will develop lesson plans, track progress, and participate in district PD, collaborating with on-site facilitators when placed.

Qualifications

• USA state teaching certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Background check required as part of the application process.

Responsibilities

• Access the educator portal to select the jobs you take on.
• Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum.
• Foster creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment.
• Engage and nurture student learning through relationship-focused strategies.

• Attend district PD sessions and faculty meetings.
• Partner with the in-class facilitator physically present with students.

Job description

$36-40 hourly. Rates are negotiable and subject to change.

Fully remote, 1099 contract opportunity. Hours vary throughout the day and week. Both full-day and part-time roles avaialble. Valid California Teacher Certification is required. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

The Role

Join our educator pool and get access to our portal, where you can select job openings that match your certification as they become available from our school and district partners. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process. As a Fullmind educator, you’ll deliver virtual instruction and guide students to course completion.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and currently hold an active, USA state-issued teaching certification in one of the areas above.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background check as part of the application process.
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus!
