Job summary

Fullmind is seeking a California Moderate to Severe certified educator to join its remote tutor pool on a 1099 contract basis. You’ll select openings through our educator portal, deliver virtual instruction, and align lesson plans with district curricula.

Immediate starts are possible; prior online teaching is a plus. A 3-year teaching background and active authorization to work in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Active California Moderate to Severe teaching certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university required.

• Access the educator portal to select the jobs you take on.
• Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum.
• Foster creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment.
• Engage and nurture student learning through relationship-focused strategies.
• Track student grades and performance.
• Attend district PD sessions and faculty meetings.
• Partner with in-class facilitator physically present with students.

• Schedule: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM PST.

The Role

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.

As a Fullmind educator, you will:

• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background checkas part of the application process.
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus!
