Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a compassionate behavioral health professional to deliver remote care across the U.S. You will provide virtual therapy using evidence-based practices, supported by supervisors and a care team. The role emphasizes patient focus, collaboration, and compliant documentation.

Required are a Master’s degree in a counseling field and an active Delaware license (LCSW/LPC/LMHC/LMFT). Expect 10–19 hours weekly with full adherence to HIPAA and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Active, unrestricted license in Delaware (LCSW/LPC/LMHC/LMFT or state equivalents).
• Ability to commit 10–19 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote measurement-informed care using evidence-based models.
• Monitor progress, follow up, coordinate care, and document notes.
• Assist participants in accessing resources and obtaining consent/authorization forms.
• Identify and respond to high-risk situations per protocols.
• Attend regular supervisor meetings, trainings and Town Halls.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and complete annual trainings.
