Job summary

Fullmind is seeking an 8th grade ASL educator to join a fully remote, 1099 contract pool. The role offers an hourly rate of $48, negotiable, with classrooms delivered via the school district’s virtual platform.

Candidates must be US-authorized and hold a current state teaching certificate (Michigan reciprocal eligibility preferred). A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of teaching experience are required, with equipment and internet access standard for remote work.

• Schedule:Monday through Friday, 12:35 PM to 1:38 PM EST.
• Start Date: ASAP, teach through the end of the semester (12/18/26).
• Must be Michigan state certified OR willing to seek to Michigan reciprocity.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

The Role

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.

As a Fullmind educator, you will:

• Access our educator portal to select the jobs you take on
• Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum
• Foster creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
• Engage and nurture student learning through thoughtful, relationship-focused strategies
• Track student grades and performance
• Attend district PD sessions and faculty meetings
• Partner with the in-class facilitator physically present with students

• Must beauthorized to work in the United States and currently hold an active, USA state-issued teaching certificationin one of the areas above.
• Minimum of3 years of experience as a professional educator
• Must have aBachelor's Degreefrom an accredited college/university.
• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background checkas part of the application process.
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus!
