General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp. seeks engineers for the Virginia Payload Module program at Quonset Point. This on-site role provides proactive presence in production areas, builds strong Operations relations, and supports issue resolution and schedule tracking.

The team emphasizes RAMPs, lessons learned, and cross‑functional collaboration to improve manufacturing and outfitting for VIRGINIA Class submarines.

Competenze

• BS degree in Engineering or higher.
• 5+ years of post‑graduate engineering experience.
• Experience with submarine systems, components, or structures is preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide on‑site support in production areas for Virginia Class products.
• Build relationships with Operations customers and attend Operations agenda meetings.
• Assist with resolution of work package issues and assess build status vs. schedule.
• Support construction readiness, RAMP and hotwash efforts, and schedule‑critical evolutions.
• Coordinate Engineering support across cross‑functional teams.
