MDS Staffing seeks an Attorney for a respected Virginia Beach law firm specializing in recoveries and creditors' rights. This role offers no billable hour requirements and a competitive base salary with additional attorney-negotiated settlements.

The firm has over two decades of experience serving financial institutions and creditors across states. You will handle litigation from inception to resolution, draft and file pleadings, and negotiate settlements.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia license.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• 2/3 days on-site, primarily signing
• Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient resolution of disputed matters.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances throughout your assigned territory (travel expenses reimbursed).
• Partner with internal staff, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases forward effectively and professionally.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines across multiple matters.
