ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC seeks an Attorney for its Virginia Beach office to handle litigation from start to finish and manage a caseload with independence. The role offers on-site collaboration with an experienced team and a base salary with potential for settlements negotiated by attorneys.

You will draft pleadings, review filings, negotiate settlements, and appear at hearings while maintaining precise case records and meeting deadlines across multiple matters.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia law license required.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation practices and courtroom procedures.
• Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• 2/3 days on-site, primarily signing.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient resolution of disputed matters.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances across assigned territory (travel expenses reimbursed).
• Partner with internal staff, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases forward professionally.
