Management Performance Associates is seeking an attorney to join its Virginia Beach team, focusing on legal recoveries and creditors' rights. The role offers independence to manage a caseload and work with an experienced legal and administrative team.

The position emphasizes no billable hour requirements and competitive base salary, with potential attorney-negotiated settlements. On-site work 2–3 days weekly, with travel reimbursements for court appearances across the territory.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia license required.

Responsabilidades

• Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• 2/3 days on-site, primarily signing
• Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient resolution of disputed matters.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances throughout your assigned territory (travel expenses reimbursed).
• Partner with internal staff, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases forward effectively and professionally.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines across multiple matters.
