Job summary

MGM Resorts International at National Harbor, Maryland, is seeking a Valet Attendant. You will be the first smiling face guests see, greeting arrivals, parking and retrieving vehicles, and ensuring a welcoming experience that sets the tone for their visit.

The starting rate is $13.16 per hour plus tips. Overtime follows state requirements; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k), and time off. Free meals and free parking are also part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valet attendant experience preferred.
• Able to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the Valet Entrance with courteous, efficient service.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles for departures.
• Assist guests requiring special assistance.
• Report issues to security or supervisor to avoid congestion.
• Support movement of vehicles to prevent traffic delays.
• Answer questions about hotel, restaurants, events, and attractions.
• Report thefts or missing items to supervisor or security.
• Assist bell persons with luggage as needed.
