Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-3 years customer service or reception experience preferred.
• 2 years or more Front Desk experience in a similar first-class hotel preferred.
• Be able to answer phones quickly, courteously and in a professional manner.
• Ensure that Guests' business is kept confidential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management.
• The ability to operate computerized front office system.
• Must be able to obtain all work cards required of the position within the property’s jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Perform all check-in functions according to hotel policies and procedures, including early check-ins, late check-ins, and walk-ins, and ensure proper payment.
• Accept, sort, and distribute all messages, small packages and mail for Guests.
• Produce, generate and distribute all required reports including room reports, bucket checks and VIP reports.
• Post charges to Guests' accounts and perform other cashier functions, including exchanging currency.
• Respond to Guests' special requests including providing extra towels, cots, and newspapers, or direct the request to the appropriate department.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other job duties as requested.
