Job summary

Penn State University Park is seeking a VIP Program Specialist to develop and grow the Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) initiative. You will manage, coordinate, and communicate across faculty leaders, students, and external partners to build sustainable VIP structures.

The role emphasizes data collection, program assessment, and outreach to promote access and equity in VIP opportunities. Prior experience in program management is preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to build processes for a newly created program and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Identify infrastructure needs and resources to support VIP project development across Penn State.
• Define VIP elements with Oversight Committee and faculty leaders; ensure compliance.
• Conduct outreach to raise VIP awareness among students, faculty, departments, and external partners.
• Collaborate with faculty VIP leaders to create and manage VIP website and access structures.
• Create and manage data collection from VIP projects to track enrollment, completion, and satisfaction.
• Represent Penn State at internal and external meetings and supervise part-time staff as needed.
