Job summary

North Star Mohican Casino Resort is seeking a Player Development Manager to lead strategy for player programs and VIP services. You will collaborate with Marketing and other departments to enhance customer satisfaction, supervise staff, and manage budgets while ensuring compliance with gaming regulations.

The role requires a marketing/communications/business background, 3+ years in player development or hospitality within gaming, and the ability to obtain a Mohican Nation Gaming License.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant experience in marketing, hospitality, or gaming.
• Five or more years in player development, marketing, or hospitality/customer service in a gaming environment.
• Must be able to obtain Mohican Nation Gaming License and pass background checks.
• Strong communication, analytical, administrative, and customer-relations abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short-term and long-term player development plans.
• Collaborate with marketing and other departments to improve player development results and satisfaction.
• Adhere to casino policies and attend required trainings and meetings.
• Supervise and motivate staff, ensuring adequate resources for duties.
• Evaluate activities, set performance metrics, and pursue improvements.
• Develop and maintain programs for complimentary services and manage VIP relations.
• Forecast and manage VIP packages and direct mail criteria.
• Develop and monitor the budget for player development areas.
• Provide ongoing reports to management and recommend improvements.
