Job summary

Empower AI seeks a VIP Support Technician to deliver high-touch, discreet technology support to senior executives at headquarters, across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS enclosures. You will anticipate needs, verify readiness, and coordinate with security teams to ensure seamless operations.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, active TS clearance eligibility, and 10+ years in desktop support. Expect a rigorous schedule and potential on-call duties in a DoD-adjacent setting.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen required.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility to start.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I baseline cert prior to cyber duties.
• Minimum of 10 years in desktop support/enterprise end-user support.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work a 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, discreet, high-touch support to senior executives and staff across enclaves.
• Respond to PL1/PL2 incidents; determine fastest resolution and coordinate resources.
• Plan and execute workstation deployments, refreshes, and travel configurations with security requirements.
• Maintain support procedures, inventories, and documentation; analyze incidents for improvements.
• Serve as senior diagnostic authority for complex hardware, OS, apps, VDI, and network issues to identify root causes.
• Provide executive and senior leadership support, including proactive readiness and rapid incident response.
• Lead workstation deployments and hardware refreshes; coordinate with endpoint engineering and security.
