Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a dependable, hardworking dishwasher to join our culinary team. This event-based, part-time role supports VIP spaces and a dedicated kitchen area, ensuring dishes and prep areas meet high sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of food service, hospitality, stadium/arena operations, hotels, clubs, restaurants, or commercial kitchens preferred.
• Valid ServSafe Food Handler Certification and TABC Certification (or ability to obtain within timeframe).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and events.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, utensils, and equipment.
• Ensure items are cleaned and sanitized per food safety regulations.
• Polish silverware using designated procedures.
• Monitor dishwashing equipment, water temperatures, and chemical levels for sanitation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dish room and kitchen area.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and surfaces as assigned.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors for a safe workspace.
• Remove trash and recycling; support kitchen sanitation.
• Assist with receiving, unloading, transporting, and stocking supplies.
