Job summary

Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented event-based part-time Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role supports designated VIP spaces and Platinum kitchen, maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment to meet sanitation standards and support the culinary team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in food service, hospitality, stadium/arena operations, hotels, clubs, restaurants, or commercial kitchens preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year custodial, janitorial, sanitation, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Valid ServSafe Food Handler Certification and TABC Certification (or ability to obtain) within required timeframe.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, utensils, and equipment.
• Ensure items are cleaned and sanitized per food safety regulations.
• Polish silverware using designated equipment and procedures.
• Monitor dishwashing equipment, water temps, and chemical levels for sanitation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized dish room and kitchen area.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and prep surfaces.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and maintain a safe workspace.
• Remove trash and recycling; support kitchen sanitation.
• Assist with receiving, unloading, transporting, and stocking supplies and equipment.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, HACCP, and workplace procedures.
• Perform additional duties to support kitchen operations.
