Job summary

TAG in New York City seeks a Senior Tour Specialist to support our growing touring department. This full-time role (40 hours per week) collaborates with global teams to deliver proactive travel solutions, while tailoring itineraries to client preferences and budgets.

You will service inquiries, bookings, and ticketing with the highest standards, manage complex reissues, negotiate vendor rates, and mentor junior staff to uphold TAG Touring procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within a travel agency.
• Strong knowledge of airfares, contracted fares, ticketing and reissues.
• GDS experience (Galileo preferred).
• Experience handling VIP, entertainment clients, and/or group travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage touring client travel requirements, anticipating and understanding client preferences; formulate itineraries to meet budgets and requirements.
• Fully service inquiries, requests, bookings and ticketing with high standards and documentation.
• Report, investigate and resolve errors or client complaints with top service levels.
• Process complex reissues and pricing records accurately.
• Manage QC procedures and tasks.
• Negotiate best rates from vendors to maximize profitability.
• Handle accounting queries and liaise with Finance for payments.
• Demonstrate professionalism and attention to standards.
• Mentor touring team in TAG Touring policies and procedures.
• Retain accounts and agreements with personalized service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
