Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site in Virginia Beach, VA. You will provide direct desk-side IT support, troubleshoot hardware/software, and assist with VIP requests in a Field Services team environment.

Requirements include US citizenship, DoD Secret Clearance, and Security+ or higher, with Windows 10 proficiency. The role emphasizes reliability, security compliance, and collaboration across teams in a government setting.

Qualifications

• US citizen
• DoD Secret Clearance
• Security+ or higher (IAT II) certification
• HS diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS (Windows 10)
• Experience with Service/Help Desk ticketing software (HP Service Manager, Remedy)
• Basic network troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues (hardware and software)
• Assist junior technicians in complex issues
• Manage resolution of customer tickets per SLRs
• Ensure requirements are identified and completed within timelines
• Assist teams in troubleshooting network-connected printers
• Assist teams with VoIP and VTC issues
• Work with VIP and executive customers to provide premier support
