Job summary

Waltzing Matilda Aviation LLC is seeking a CRJ200 Captain (PIC) for FAA Part 135 luxury shuttle operations out of Dallas Love Field. The role requires a CL-65 CRJ200 type rating, recent PIC experience, and a strong focus on safety, hospitality, and high-end guest service.

Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $175,000 annually with performance bonuses. The Captain will lead the flight department, manage risk assessments, mentor officers, and ensure strict adherence to Part 135 and company SOPs.

Qualifications

• ATP certificate and CRJ200 type rating with PIC privileges
• Recent CRJ200 experience within 24 months
• Total time 5,500 hours: 2,500 PIC, 2,000 turbine/jet, 500 CRJ hours
• Current FAA First-Class Medical
• US work authorization and solid background clearances

Responsibilities

• Serve as PIC for CRJ200 under 14 CFR Part 135, ensuring safety and compliance
• Lead crew with CRM/TEM focus and conduct thorough preflight planning
• Coordinate with guests, FBOs, and cabin staff to ensure seamless, high-end service
• Maintain aircraft records, logbooks, and trip documentation accurately
• Mentor other crew and complete required trainings and checks
