Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work well under pressure of coordinating # requests at any given time.
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
• Some college or training in hospitality industry.
• Previous experience as a Concierge in a luxury market.
• Previous cashiering experience.
• Knowledge of computers.
• Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish.
• Knowledge of local attractions, services and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and respond to inquiries with courtesy.
• Coordinate VIP services and special requests.
• Escort VIPs to rooms and inform guests of hotel amenities.
• Attend to VIPs and follow through on attention throughout stay.
• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features/services and hours of operation.
• Input and access data in computer systems and maintain guest logs.
• Coordinate guest requests with vendors and departments to fulfill accommodations.
• Answer department telephone with proper etiquette and within 3 rings.
• Handle guest complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Post charges and balance cash handling as required.
