Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a part-time VIP Host at Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee, MN. You will greet guests, verify tickets, assist with seating, and ensure a safe, welcoming lounge and VIP areas.

You’ll resolve issues, guide guests, and support staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences during events. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong diplomacy, and the ability to walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of high-end restaurant operations, seating procedures, guest relations and problem solving.
• Diplomacy, ability to handle multiple tasks, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Constant walking, stairs, occasional sitting, lifting 25 lbs+.
• Ability to diffuse volatile situations with tact and diplomacy.
• Flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and scan tickets at entry for VIP clubs and seating areas.
• Assist guests with seating, locate seats and answer questions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, presentable venue and resolve guest concerns.
• Verify tickets/passes and guide guests to exits in emergencies.
• Provide information about lounges and music areas and assist other staff as needed.
• Support sustainability efforts and collect recyclables after shows.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth guest experience.
