Job summary

Downstream Casino Resort is seeking a bartender to provide friendly service in the pub and casino areas. You will take drink orders, assist in drink preparation, and present drinks to guests, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.

This role requires counting money, basic tray service knowledge, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays while maintaining a professional appearance and strong English communication with guests and staff.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age.
Able to count money and make change.
Practices safe handling of service equipment and garnishes.
Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Must present a neat, professional appearance.
Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

Takes drink orders, communicates with bartender, assists in the preparation of drinks and presents drinks to guests.
Assist all Supervisors in providing a successful operation of VIP Rooms.
Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines.
Provides personalized service and uses guest name.
Takes food orders when working in the pub & poker room and delivers to guests.
Promotes casino events and programs.
Works closely with beverage staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Maintains a friendly, professional demeanor with guests and staff.
