Job summary

Insomniac is seeking a motivated VIP Experience Production Crew member to ensure the flawless execution of VIP design elements. This on-site role involves heavy prop installation, carpentry tasks, and close collaboration with the VIP Production Manager and Art Director.

You will work across installation and dismantle, support with decor and lighting teams, and follow detailed drawings to deliver high-impact event experiences while complying with safety standards. This is not a remote position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years art department and/or carpentry experience.
• Festival and/or film production experience preferred.
• Must possess tool kit including basic hand and power tools.
• Must possess valid and current driver license and U.S. passport.
• Must possess valid and current credit card for hotel incidentals.
• Experience operating equipment such as forklift, boom lift, scissor lift is preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and saws.
• Must be highly motivated with strong interpersonal communication.
• Knowledge of web and mobile tech and two-way radio.
• Must have a mobile device, preferably a smartphone.
• Physical: walking, stairs, lifting up to 75lbs, 8+ hour days.

Responsibilities

• Load-in and load-out of design elements and props.
• Installations of custom environments per drawings.
• Assist with 3rd party vendor operations.
• Support VIP Decor and Lighting teams as needed.
• Follow drawings to install elements and perform carpentry/painting tasks.
• Repair, maintain, and organize VIP assets.
• Assist with assembly and dismantle of stage equipment.
• Use hand and power tools and material handling equipment.
• Communicate updates to crew leads and management.
• Adhere to safety regulations and professional conduct.
• Operate vehicles and heavy equipment with required certification.
• Support with emergency repairs and troubleshooting.
