Ad Astra, Inc. is urgently seeking Vietnamese-English bilingual professionals to provide in-person interpretation services in a healthcare setting at Johns Hopkins.

Fluency in Vietnamese and English is required, with strong communication skills. Nursing or healthcare-related students and professionals are strongly encouraged to apply, and prior interpreting experience is welcome but not required. You must be able to travel to the assignment location and maintain confidentiality.

Ad Astra, Inc. is urgently seeking Vietnamese-English bilingual professionals to provide in-person interpretation services in a healthcare setting.

We are especially interested in candidates with a healthcare-related background, including nursing students, college students pursuing health-related degrees, caregivers, healthcare workers, or individuals with previous experience in medical or healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

1. Provide accurate and professional Vietnamese-English interpretation in person.
2. Facilitate communication between patients, healthcare professionals, and staff.
3. Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
4. Follow all client, facility, and healthcare compliance requirements.

Qualifications

1. Fluency in Vietnamese and English.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Nursing students, healthcare students, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and candidates with a health-related background are strongly encouraged to apply.
4. Previous interpreting experience is preferred but not required.
5. Ability to work professionally in a healthcare environment.
6. Ability to travel to the assignment location for in-person services.

Healthcare Compliance Requirements

This is an URGENT healthcare need. Candidates must be willing and able to meet all required healthcare compliance requirements before being assigned, including:

1. Tdap vaccination
2. MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella) vaccination
3. Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccination
4. TB screening/test
5. Current Flu vaccination

Candidates who already have up-to-date vaccination records and compliance documentation will be prioritized.
