Job summary

Rapport International is seeking qualified interpreters for in-person interpretation in the Omaha area, Nebraska. We welcome bilingual applicants with strong communication skills and knowledge of medical terminology.

Independent contractor positions offer flexible hours, with availability typically required Monday through Friday 7 AM to 5 PM. Vietnamese interpreters are specifically mentioned as needed, and applicants must have transportation to attend appointments locally.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual

• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/HIPAA compliance
• In-person interpreters only with transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Schedule is PRN, part time (or less depending on languages spoken) with availability M-F 7AM-5PM

As a busy interpreting service provider, we are seeking to onboard hard-working, fully-bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. • We are looking for IN PERSON interpreters only, you must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences. However, applicants must have some availability M-F 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed.

Please note, this is an independent contractor position with flexible hours. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken and client needs.
