Job summary

TVFCU is seeking a Personal Teller at Corporate Headquarters in Chattanooga, TN. This part-time role handles member transactions, delivers friendly service, and supports members in achieving financial goals.

The Personal Teller communicates product knowledge, maintains confidentiality, and upholds TVFCU values while processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other duties. Weekend/extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in finance or related fields are a plus.
• Proven experience in customer service or sales role, preferable within the banking or credit union industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly, including on video.
• Bilingual communication skills are highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle member concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using email and Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
• Commitment to outstanding customer service and building long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

• Successfully answers sessions as presented and complete in a timely manner, demonstrated by exceeding an average of 85% of sessions per hour.
• Consistently provides exceptional member service, demonstrated by achieving an average Member Experience Evaluation score of 94.
• Process various member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of all member information.
• Balances at least 90% of the time, being no more than $100 off in any 12 month period.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge to answer routine to complex questions regarding products, services, policies and procedures.
