Job summary

OpenEye in Liberty Lake, WA, seeks a Technical Support Representative to assist customers with video security products, DVRs, cameras and network gear. You will answer phone and email inquiries, analyze hardware, software, and network issues, and provide timely, accurate resolutions.

This role offers growth in a collaborative, customer-first environment and requires strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. Experience in DVR/CCTV support is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years related experience in customer service, troubleshooting and repairing DVR and CCTV equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solver who is flexible and responsible.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment and enjoy interacting with people.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network communications including router issues and switch problems.
• Troubleshoot software/hardware, user processes and mechanical operation.
• Support customers over phone, email, and remote interfaces.
• Demonstrate Heroic Customer Service with friendly, professional service.
• Create knowledge base articles to improve self-support.
• Learn new technologies and take on more responsibilities as the organization grows.
• Other duties as assigned.
