Job summary

OpenEye, the cloud video platform company, seeks a Technical Support Representative to support DVRs, cameras, network devices, and related software. You will provide phone and email support, diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, and help customers resolve problems quickly from our Liberty Lake, WA headquarters.

You will learn new technologies, grow within the organization, and deliver Heroic Customer Service as part of a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years in customer service, troubleshooting and repairing DVR/CCTV equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solver who is flexible and responsible.
• Able to work in a team-based environment.
• Able to interact with people.
• Work at Liberty Lake, WA headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network communications including router issues, WAN link outages, and switch problems.
• Troubleshoot software/hardware, user processes and mechanical operation.
• Support customers via phone, email, and remote interfaces.
• Demonstrate Heroic Customer Service with friendly, professional service.
• Assist the department with creating knowledge base articles for self-support.
• Learn new technologies and take on more responsibilities as the organization grows.
• Other duties as assigned.
