Job Summary:

The Video Producer is a key member of the creative team delivering compelling video testimonial and interview-based video content that showcases the stories of our students, faculty, and partners. This role is responsible for the full interview cycle, from initial interviewee contact to delivery and management of interview highlights. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment and is deeply committed to capturing content that advances Risepoint's mission to expand access to workforce-relevant education.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interview Production:

    • Own the full lifecycle of interview production, from identifying and scheduling participants through post-interview content delivery independently achieving deadlines.

    • Serve as the primary interviewer and on-camera producer,building rapport with diverse individuals to elicit authentic,brand-aligned storytelling that resonates with prospectivelearners.

    • Apply sound judgment and creative problem-solving toadapt in real time, navigating participant nervousness, audio/visual issues, or off-brand messaging during live interviews.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Content teams to align interview topics, questions and formats withcampaign objectives, brand tone, and strategic messaging.

    • Represent the company's values in every interaction,demonstrating high standards of professionalism, empathy,and customer orientation with interviewees and stakeholders.

    • Extract and deliver curated pull quotes and timestampedfootage to the Content team, ensuring assets are ready fordownstream use across channels (web, email, paid media).

    • Maintain interview production trackers, release documentation, and a structured content archive to ensure reliable delivery, legal compliance, and content

  • Creative Direction:

    • Ensure visual elements (framing, lighting, composition,background) consistently reflect Risepoint's brand guidelines and tone across video backdrops, formats, and interview types.

    • Make on-the-spot decisions during filming to optimize shotcomposition, adapt to environmental constraints, and elevate production value without compromising timelines.

    • Partner closely with video editors, designers, copywriters,and marketing leads to suggest how the content can beused.

  • Post-Production:

    • Use Adobe Premiere Pro and related Creative Suite tools todeliver pull quotes aligned with brand guidelines andcampaign objectives.

    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strongversion control, ensuring efficient feedback cycles, timelydelivery, and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
      Maintain an organized and searchable archive of footage,project files, final exports, and release documentation to enable future content reuse and compliance

  • Project Management:

    • Work with internal stakeholders to achieve the necessary timelines for deliverables. Raise any roadblocks to management for resolution.

    • Maintain consistent, transparent communication with theDirector of Video Production and relevant teams, providingstatus updates, surfacing risks, and ensuring alignment oncreative direction and execution.

    • Develop and maintain tools (e.g., production trackers, editorial calendars, feedback logs) to ensure smooth coordinationand timely delivery across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Additional Position Responsibilities

    • Perform in accordance with Risepoint Policies

    • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in video production

  • Proven ability to conduct interviews and craft compelling narratives.

  • Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects.

  • Experience in art direction and visual storytelling.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

  • Background in marketing or communications.

  • Experience with motion graphics and sound design

  • Familiarity with content strategy and digital marketing trends.

  • Portfolio or Writing samples preferred
