The Role

• Edit short-form and long-form video content optimized for social platforms (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube videos)
• Transform raw footage into dynamic, engaging, and brand-aligned videos
• Incorporate music, sound effects, motion graphics, and text overlays to enhance storytelling
• Stay on top of social media trends and proactively suggest content ideas and editing styles
• Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Optimize videos for performance (retention, engagement, and shareability)
• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar)
• Strong understanding of pacing, comedic timing, and viral content structure
• Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
• Ability to adapt editing style to match evolving trends and brand voice
• Experience in social media or DTC brands
• Strong attention to detail and storytelling instincts
• Motion graphics and animation experience
• Color grading and sound design skills
• Experience working with influencers or user-generated content
• Familiarity with analytics and performance metrics
• Passion for running
