Genesee Intermediate School District is seeking a Video Design and Support Specialist to create multimedia content and support AV technologies across departments. You will shoot and edit photography and video, assist with marketing campaigns, and help manage digital assets.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent and experience in marketing/communications or AV/video streaming. Strong teamwork and willingness to learn new tech are valued.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or equivalent; related education/training preferred.
• Internship or work experience in marketing or communications preferred.
• Experience supporting AV technology and video streaming preferred.
• Proficient with multimedia creation: photography, videography, video production.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, After Effects.

Position Summary

The Video Design and Support Specialist performs work with both the Communications and Development department and the Technology and Media Services departments. This role handles various tasks within the Communications and Development department, including photography, videography, video editing/production, and assisting with development, design, and execution of district communications and marketing campaigns. This role also helps support the use of audio visual (AV) technologies used by the Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD).

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, related education/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Experience: Work or college internship experience in marketing or communications preferred; experience supporting AV technology and video streaming is also preferred.
• Supports the creation and editing of multimedia projects, including photography, videography, video production, closed captioning, and digital asset management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, After Effects, and other communications, marketing, and video production tools.
• Assists with marketing and communication initiatives across social media, websites, advertising, and other channels, including analyzing data to support future strategies.
• Supports AV technology, video streaming, website and document accessibility, and other technology needs across district departments.
• Demonstrates creativity, adaptability, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to continuously learn and apply new technology and skills.
• Provides professional customer service, manages multiple priorities effectively, works successfully as part of a team, and demonstrates honesty, integrity, good judgment, and Win-Win Leadership.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $24.32-$33.29 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Work Schedule: 261 days per year/ 7.5 hours per day

Paid Time Off:
