Velocix is seeking a technical support engineer to help customers worldwide with IP video delivery, troubleshooting, and deployment support. You will work with engineering and product teams to resolve issues and improve service reliability.

The role covers monitoring, incident management, and knowledge sharing, with opportunities to lead deployments and customer communications during upgrades.

Formación

• Linux system administration experience.
• Understanding of enterprise IP networking concepts (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/ESXi/OpenStack).
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and customer-facing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues across customer IP Video environments.
• Investigate incidents affecting video delivery, streaming performance, system availability, and customer services.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective or preventative actions.
• Handle escalated technical issues and collaborate with engineering and product teams.
• Follow established support processes and document activities; maintain service metrics and SLAs.
