Job summary

TEN Credit Union in Nashville, TN is seeking a Video Banker to join our Operations Team. You’ll connect with members through video, phone, chat, email and other digital channels, delivering personalized financial solutions without the traditional teller line.

You’ll open accounts, process loans, advise on products, and ensure compliance while providing friendly, people-first service. This role requires strong communication, problem solving, and adapting to new tech in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years in a bank, credit union, or financial institution.
• Sales and relationship-building experience.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM with 95% accuracy.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service through video banking, phone, chat, and email.
• Assist members with account questions, transactions, and digital banking.
• Open new accounts and recommend appropriate products.
• Process account maintenance, closures, ACH inquiries and disputes.
• Help members regain access via password resets and online banking support.
• Interview borrowers and process consumer loans end-to-end.
• Gather docs, make lending decisions within authority, fund loans, close.
• Counsel on lending options and alternative solutions when declined.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities to strengthen member finances.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and adherence to policies.

What You'll Do

As a Video Banker, you'll serve as a trusted financial resource for our members by:

• Delivering exceptional service through video banking, phone, chat, secure messaging, and email
• Assisting members with account questions, transactions, and digital banking solutions
• Opening new accounts and recommending products that meet member needs
• Processing account maintenance requests, closures, stop payments, ACH inquiries, and Regulation E disputes
• Helping members regain access to accounts through password resets and online banking support
• Interviewing members and processing consumer loan applications from start to finish
• Gathering documentation, making lending decisions within authority limits, funding loans, and completing closings
• Counseling members on lending options and discussing alternative solutions when applications are declined
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell products and services that strengthen members' financial well-being
• Maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
