Job summary

Catholic Charities Wichita’s Harbor House seeks a Mission-Focused Victim Services Case Manager to provide advocacy and case management for shelter residents. This full-time, in-person role supports clients navigating domestic violence, helping them plan for independent living and access resources.

The position requires an undergraduate degree in social work or related field, a driver’s license, and familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in social work or related field.
• Class C driver’s license, motor vehicle, and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Assists incoming calls to shelter, responds to inquiries, and determines appropriate action.
• Receives prospective clients and determines eligibility for services.
• Admits and exits clients through established procedures.
• Interviews clients to assess independent living needs and advocacy needs; develops plans to assist client’s return to independent living.
• Coordinates a spectrum of community resources and refers clients to subsequent services.
• Enters program demographic and service data in Catholic Charities computer system.
