Job summary

Catholic Charities Wichita seeks a DV/SA Case Manager to support Harbor House Shelter under DCF guidance. You will provide advocacy, intake counseling, safety planning, referrals, and economic advocacy to TANF and Non-TANF participants, coordinating with partners across 25 counties.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in social work or social sciences related field.
• Two years of experience working with low-income individuals and families as case manager.
• Professional experience or training in counseling, domestic violence, sexual assault, economically disadvantaged, or other social issues.
• Preference to those with experience and knowledge in domestic violence and sexual assault services.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct advocacy services to TANF and Non-TANF participants, including screening, planning, intake counseling, safety planning, and referrals.
• Provide training to community partners and DCF Service Centers.
• Participate in community outreach events to promote program awareness.
• Present SAFE Project curriculum and engage with participants at orientations.
• Plan and facilitate classes and support groups to improve life skills and healthy relationships.
• Coordinate resources focusing on underserved populations; develop relationships to access safe housing, mental health care, and crisis services.
