Responsibilities

  • Oversee VNS, VOSS, and CENP analysts in a supervisory capacity.
  • Oversee processing of victim contact information and case documentation.
  • Validate and verify case files across multiple case management systems.
  • Perform quality assurance and generate reports as needed.
  • Update SOPs with program managers.
  • Provide training for new analysts.
  • Provide feedback and remedial training to ensure compliance.
  • Review daily logs and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Approve data transfers to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Oversee scheduling and regional coverage.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and team cohesion.
  • Communicate vacancy coverage plans to management.

Job description

The Team Lead is responsible for the supervisory oversight of VNS, VOSS, and CENP Victim Notification Analysts supporting the FBI Victim Services Division (VSD). The position requires a strong understanding of federal victim notification programs, personnel management, quality assurance, and program-level reporting, and must be able to work independently with minimal Government oversight while ensuring consistent, accurate, and timely support across all VSD notification programs. Top-Secret clearance is required.

Location: FBI Headquarters, Washington, DC

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee VNS, VOSS, and CENP analysts in a supervisory capacity
  • Oversee the processing of victim contact information and case documentation
  • Validate and verify case files in multiple case management systems
  • Perform quality assurance and report generation when directed
  • Work with CENP/VOSS/VNS program managers to update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Provide robust and comprehensive training for new analysts
  • Provide timely feedback, quality control reviews, and remedial training to correct deficiencies and ensure compliance with program standards
  • Review daily logs of data imports and facilitate corrective actions as needed
  • Approve data within systems as needed to ensure accuracy and appropriate data transfer
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for strategic process enhancements
  • Oversee day-to-day scheduling and ensure effective regional coverage plans
  • Ensure the team operates cohesively and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Hold regular team meetings to ensure staff compliance with customer policies and procedures
  • Communicate vacancy coverage plans and backfilling updates to program management
Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active Top Secret security clearance (required at time of proposal submission)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (four years of relevant professional experience may substitute)
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a professional work environment
  • One year of experience using MS Word and MS Outlook
  • One year of experience using MS Excel, including spreadsheet creation, data entry/auto-fill, sorting/filtering/freezing panes, worksheet management, Text-to-Columns, and the Concatenate function
  • One year of experience using MS SharePoint in a professional work environment
  • Program and project management experience
  • Experience preparing and delivering formal presentations to a wide audience
