Job summary

The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) seeks an AVP of Workforce Strategies to design, implement, and scale national workforce initiatives within the Learning Ecosystems, Workforce Strategies, and Intelligence portfolio.

Reporting to the SVP, this role leads partnerships with member colleges, government, and industry to advance credentials, work-based learning, and mobility initiatives, with a focus on equity and opportunity.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Education, Public Policy, Workforce Development, Data Science, or related field.
• 12 years of leadership in workforce development, higher education strategy, or public policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce strategy and innovation across national and regional levels.
• Ground initiatives in workforce demand with emphasis on equity and access.
• Develop data-informed intelligence dashboards, foresight briefs, and reports.
• Build cross-sector education-to-employment ecosystems and partnerships.
