Loans Enablement Platform Product Owner

We are seeking a VP, Product Owner II to join our Loans Enablement Platform. The role is based in Houston, TX, or Pittsburgh, PA, with a requirement of 3 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Own the product strategy, develop annual roadmaps, and execute quarterly initiatives for a loan product.
2. Contribute to the platform's strategic objectives using data, metrics, and goals.
3. Collaborate with operations and client teams to translate business needs into epics and stories.
4. Prioritize work based on business value, estimated revenue, operational KPIs, and KRIs.
5. Provide daily guidance to the team for story clarification and acceptance criteria.
6. Identify and escalate issues, understanding how features interrelate and catching complex problems.
7. Define measurement and instrumentation for analyzing post-release results.
8. Assess and improve existing UX, creating wireframes independently or with the design team.
9. Participate actively in validation and sprint reviews for story sign-off.
10. Manage handoffs for operational readiness, training, and adoption, tracking relevant metrics.
11. Promote agile practices, DevOps, and automated testing.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 6+ years of experience in related fields, including loans, money movement, reconciliations, or trading.
2. Experience with systems implementation and determining MVP for launches.
3. Ability to decompose complex initiatives into small, value-driven epics and stories.
4. Strong collaboration, influence, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
5. Passion for innovation and change management.
6. Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines or equivalent work experience.
7. At least 6+ years of product experience and familiarity with agile methodologies.
